Through the Dimension Gate you powerful entities of other dimensions can be hunted. The higher the level of dimension gate, the more often a creature can be attacked. A level 1 DG gives 1 point every 8 hours, each additional level decreases this by 20 minutes. These points can be used whenever, but no more points can be stored than the level of the dimension gate. It can be activated once every hour (Chronocompensation can reduce this cooldown to 10 minutes and an ancient stone or action point reduces it to 0 minutes). The maximum level is 50, but above level 12 the time to get a DG point does not decrease. From level 25, the monsters from the gate get stronger and stronger, but yield more SE.
The creatures from the dimension gate have no armour or shields and just fight with a weapons in their teeth and a magic spell relative to their level. The weapons are real weapons which are purchasable, but the stats of the creature's weapon can vary. The level of the creature is always +10 levels on top of your own, so the battles won't always be won, but at higher levels they become easier and easier.
Winning the battle will yield:
- Experience, but this can be reduced by disadvanced development
- Soul-energy, though more SE can not be taken than you have already
- Creative affinity and the diamond horde bonus has no effect
- The soul steal works just like it does on player characters.
- A chance to gain a level-dependent ring, necklace or focus crystal.
A player must be at least level 15 to gain a relic from the gate, so the higher the level, the higher the chance to find a relic. For more information on the relics, see here and here.
If a player is level 80 or higher, every tenth opponent from the gate will be unusually strong and has a chance to drop a unique focus crystal. A warning message comes up allowing players to prepare for the harder fight (a suggestion to drink a berserker potion appears), but in most cases it is unlikely to be necessary. The creature that appears is a monster 20 levels higher than the players, and has strength similar to an epic creature of the same level.
